These Terms govern your access to BuyMeKola and cover fiat support, USDT support, creator settlement, internal Spray Kola transfers, and the operational rules that keep the platform safe and auditable.
BuyMeKola provides public creator pages, payment collection, crypto support routing, settlement orchestration, receipts, analytics, and internal gifting features for creators and their communities.
You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement and use the Services in compliance with applicable law. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account.
BuyMeKola may request identity, payout, banking, or compliance information before enabling settlement, crypto features, or creator access.
Supporters may pay in naira using payment methods made available through our payment partners, including card, bank transfer, and USSD where supported.
BuyMeKola currently treats USDT as the canonical stablecoin product rail. Creators may be assigned a permanent USDT receive address on a supported network, or may receive USDT from a naira-to-USDT pay-in session where available.
BuyMeKola uses third-party providers, including Paystack and crypto infrastructure partners, to process collections, quotes, transfers, withdrawals, and settlement. Provider downtime, bank downtime, chain congestion, sanctions controls, or fraud reviews can delay or prevent completion.
BuyMeKola maintains product balances for operational and settlement purposes. These include a naira main wallet, a USDT wallet, and a separate Spray Kola wallet for internal naira gifting.
Creator-facing fees are disclosed on the Pricing page and may be updated from time to time. As of these Terms, BuyMeKola’s product model is:
Provider charges, processor charges, transfer fees, and similar operational costs may be absorbed by BuyMeKola as part of the platform’s internal cost structure unless we expressly state otherwise.
BuyMeKola runs settlement attempts every day, including weekends and holidays. Where the product describes settlement as T+X, that means X calendar days after the relevant balance is credited and becomes eligible.
A daily settlement attempt is not the same as guaranteed same-day bank receipt. Provider processing, bank rails, compliance checks, reversals, off-ramp liquidity, and receiving bank behavior can affect final completion time.
Spray Kola is an internal-only naira gifting feature. Users may move funds from their main naira wallet into Spray Kola, spray another user, top up Spray Kola through an external Paystack payment flow where available, and move unused Spray Kola funds back into their main naira wallet.
Refunds, reversals, and chargebacks are subject to payment-provider rules, law, and BuyMeKola’s internal review process. BuyMeKola may suspend payouts, reverse internal balance effects where legally required, or delay settlement while investigating fraud, abuse, or compliance concerns.
Failed payouts may be retried automatically. Retry timing and eligibility are governed by BuyMeKola’s internal payout controls and provider responses.
Creators remain responsible for their page content, social links, supporter prompts, and fundraising context. BuyMeKola may restrict content, disable features, or suspend accounts that create legal, operational, or trust risk.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services, including a payment rail, provider integration, network, or feature, at any time.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. BuyMeKola may retain transaction, ledger, settlement, and audit records for reconciliation, fraud review, tax, accounting, legal, and compliance purposes.
The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BuyMeKola is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for losses caused by provider downtime, chain conditions, banking delays, or user misuse.
BuyMeKola’s aggregate liability for claims arising out of the Services is limited to the fees paid to BuyMeKola for the transaction or feature directly giving rise to the claim, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria and the courts of Lagos State, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
